Get the Fog Out!®
A failed seal is moisture that occurs naturally in the atmosphere that often collects and is trapped between the insulated panes of glass. This moisture can eventually accumulate to a point where it could become visible as condensation between the insulated panes of glass.
If you ignore the condensation trapped in your windows it will eventually reach a point of saturation. It’s at this point where the destruction begins. The moisture becomes permanent, progressively leaving deposits and stripping the insulating properties from the unit. This scars the glass. This scaring could be permanent and render the unit unsalvageable.
Our process allows Excel Window Solutions to reverse the accumulation of the moisture in the units by establishing breathing holes in the glass unit to allow the trapped moisture to escape naturally. These specially designed ‘micro’ Defogger™ valve and seals allow vaporized moisture in the chamber to vent to the outside so all moisture is expelled from the unit. When this occurs the natural insulating factor returns to the window. All of this is done on site without having to remove or reinstall windows.
